Hachiko's Strike Witches Tv Review

Strike Witches

Rated: 6

In conclusion, Strike Witches is a show that may interest those who are sticklers for heavy fan service, as well as the curious watchers who want a different take on the saga that is World War II. Tune out the Holocaust, and forget about the significance of D-Day, or the raising of the flag at Iwo Jima. Those things NEVER happened. What really took place during those turbulent early 1940's was a clash between those 11 wonderful young Strike Witches and the Neuroi.

But if you are all about seeing a good storyline that will make you want to crave the next episode, and the next, and the next...I probably would not recommend this show to you, and advise that you proceed with caution.

Hachiko's Clannad Tv Review

Clannad

Rated: 10

An anime that has excellent presentation is a memorable combination of solid art and visual detail, a complex storyline that requires careful direction, and a steadfast pair of voice acting and musical composition. Even if you have not played the game itself, the TV adaptation of Clannad would be a nice substitute, because in my book, it has all the qualities of excellent presentation.
Kyoto Animation did, as always, a superb job directing each path of the game into the show, and all the members, including Kazumi Ikeda and Fumihiko Shimo, who directed the story plot and the animation, respectively, have made it their intention to raise the bar once again after the success of their prior works.

Hachiko's Gals! Manga Review

Gals!

Rated: 9

GALS! brings laughter, tears, more laughter, more tears, and a wide smile across your face with drama and comedy that really delivers. When it comes to presentation, humor is the glue to this manga. It's the mortar to the bricks. Every volume presents the reader with a number of slice-of-life adventures.

Some examples of this include: Taizou's failed attempts at getting his daughter to join the police force, which go way back to when Ran was a kid, a wild chase for a monkey during Christmas, and a trip to Taiwan which results in an episode of mistaken identity. There is plenty of comedy to keep the reader wanting for more.

Hachiko's Lucky Star Tv Review

Lucky Star

Rated: 8

Lucky Star is a series that will either get you hooked, or it won't. Konata, Kagami, Tsukasa, Miyuki, and the other characters of this show are likable, memorable, and are unique in their own, quirky, slackerish ways, and the punchlines can provide a nice laugh or two, or three, or more.

Kagami Yoshimizu's 4-koma classic and Kyoto Animation takes a different approach to the formula used for slice-of-life shows like Ichigo Mashimaro and Azumanga Daioh, and applies other anime and manga shows, and makes it into a product all its own.

Hachiko's Azumanga Daioh Tv Review

Azumanga Daioh

Rated: 10

When I first heard about Azumanga Daioh in 2003, I didn't know how popular a series like this was in Japan. How do six young schoolgirls, who look cute and adorable no matter what their age, make a significant impact on how we see things? The big answer: watch it unfold!

Once I had seen the first episode, the addiction started to come about. As time went on, I came to appreciate the many key elements of the show, and how the pieces fit together. And there are a lot of pieces to this.

Osaka's spaciness and philosophies. Yomi's commitment to dieting. Tomo's spirited nature that is even ch8ildlike. Kagura's athleticism. Sakaki's penchant for cats. Chiyo's hard work ethic in the adverse face of high school life. Each character is just as importanit as the other.
